The Official Man Utd Thread - Part 3.

Of course we would all like an Enrique or whatever your having yourself with regards to who we think can get United back competing for the league but the reality is those managers might not want to come this shambles of club, then what take a punt on another Amorim or Ten Hag?
This is another huge problem tbh.

You could have Liverpool and City both looking for managers this summer (have a feeling Pep is gone tbh, just a feeling), along with Real Madrid and a few other top clubs from the continent.

United is probably the most unappealing job out there for a top level coach right now.

Fuck you Joel Galzer. Fuck you and your gimp siblings.

Fair enough, I can actuallly see the dangers of appointing him. But every manager is a gamble in some ways.

I'd carry Carlo (my frist choice from anyone) on my back from Brazil to Manchester, because in the book you recommended he basically runs the team the way the club wants him too and has been highly succesful doing it.

I also fear the circus that is MUFC would make even Carlo lose his mind.

Its arguably the most difficult job in football.

Theres a crazy level of expectation with a Sunderland level of spending.

Carrick is getting a few results in the short term but giving up control of games to play on the break isn't going to bring back competitiveness over the course of the season. (You can read nothing into yesterday after Romeros brainfart).

Amorim was trying to impose a system to let United dominate opposition and have a crack at the title. They bought neither wingbacks or a midfielder to let him use the game they signed him to play.

Anderson and Wharton have as much as said United isnt their preferred destination so they probably go all in for Baleba. Does he make them better than Arsenal or City, I doubt it. (If Bruno goes, they'll struggle bigtime).

If they get carried away with a wave of enthusiasm from the fans with CL qualification I expect the wheels to come off pretty quickly next season.

Fan service based decisions get you Shearer at Newcastle or Dalglish back at Anfield. They should stick to their plan and bring in a manager like Ancelotti or Tuchel who have a track record of success in England.

The best thing Carrick could do is go away and cut his teeth elsewhere and look at the job in a few years. If they give it to him now he will just be out of a job in 12-15 months.

BTW I do hope he proves me wrong and is a big success but I just dont see it.

I'd love to see Ancellotti get the job and if Carrick was willing to be the head coach with a view to taking over when the great man retires, but thats more of a fantasy than Handy ever seeing the J&M show return.

Total pile of scutter.

As usual from you.
United have a decent 1 to 15, 16 and after that it falls off a cliff. Even look at today's bench, ffs.

The squad was already very weak last season from a depth perspective and they left seven players out with only 3 outfield players signed in the summer.

Any of the expected amount of injuries and United are down to academy lads.
Except it's not.
You've just gone from saying the squad is piss weak to saying they've a decent 1-16. You're completely contradicting yourself and have agreed with my point you utter fool. Absolute bluffer as usual and all bluster.

@ Nollaig

When asked about Bruno today Carrick said the following'

He played different roles today for us and ended up on the left. The second goal was from the left as we changed things around a little bit.

"He's now a team player, he gives so much to the group. He's got big moments in him, but we know the quality he has.

See m8, it's all down to me, you can thank ol fedy for the improvement as they obviously read my posts like.

I dont think you even watch the games tbh

You spent almost 100% of Amorims time regurgitating Sky Sports club in crisis talking points. The exact same with Ten Hag. Just some tiresome troll.

You need a decent 22 players now to compete with Arsenal, City , Liverpool and Chelsea.

United have a pretty good first XI but look at the replacements. Zirkzee, Ugarte, Mount then. Theyve good cover at Centreback but fullback, number 9, midfield close to nothing. They had 5 injuries and with Amad and Mbuemo at Afcon they had three games where they finished with two academy lads on the pitch.

I dont see how you can argue that the squad is strong. It isnt and any normal amount of injuries and they are down to playing kids. Just like last season when Chido Obi had to play a few games.

Ive no interest in talking to you tbh. 2021 Carlo Ancelotti was an old man out of ideas according to you. You dont know your arse from your elbow and I guarantee within 6 or 7 months of next season you will be calling for Carricks head. Probably sooner. A Carragher Parrot.

You're actually embarrassing yourself and now you're back pedalling. No one here is saying the squad is brilliant. But piss weak it ain't.

As for Amorim, you're in the minority there. Worst utd manager in around 50 years. The stats back that up. I'm actually happy you're defending him because you're making a complete fool of yourself here for all to see. Keep up you good work 😂.
