The Official Man Utd Thread - Part 3.

Perhaps because he thinks that the Forrrest player's style is a better fit for how he wants his midfield/team to shape up?

Bellingham & Foden also not in the squad.

.

Tuchel getting lot of credit for picking best team rather than best players. Previous managers tried to shoehorn the most high profile stars into the national team irrespective of the balance of the starting eleven.

Of course if things go wrong in USA, the same journos giving him credit now will be lambasting him for not picking Foden, Bellingham or whoever!!

Tbf to Tuchel, it would appear that Alonso is fairly lukewarm on Bellingham too!!

So INEOS, GNEV, Sebastian Coe and various other big brains sat down and made a plan to build the Wembley of the north.

And it was a good plan.

Except,

They didn't own a lot of the land they made their plans for. And when they offered the company that do own it 50 mill for said land the company went "lol,we saw your plans. The price is £400 mill".

Ya, normally you try to buy up that kinda land on the quiet.

Before you announce you plan on tripling its value.

Mayor of Manchester is very much invested in this project and ive seen talks of compulsory purchase orders in the past.

Not sure how much power a mayor has in this regard but if they have government on side to develop a large area of Manchester that will generate shit loads of employment and long term revenue you could see them getting involved, the CPO can be done under the Acquisition of Land Act 1981 for urban development.
