I think it’s a bad idea. The environment around the club is toxic and I wouldn’t blame him if he walked. He clearly knows what he’s doing regards getting Utd back into a good Plan A. If you look at the horseshit Arteta is serving up at Arsenal and nobody cares provided he can rustle up a win from a set piece. Even Slot you could argue a lot of his success is in game management. But both those are doing that in the context of a functioning game model. You’d need certainty there’s no change in squad needed and we’re working towards same game model. With that no point in changing manager if the issue is his playing 3-4-3 etc

Gary Neville suggested Utd going to three at the back before Ten Hag was sacked.

I say give it to Roy, Gary Nev and Rooney for the rest of the season. See can the three sages get Utd relegated.

Neither Ireaola or Glasner would inspire tbh.

Its one thing to do it with a midtable side its quite another to cope with the pressure and expectation at United.

Id imagine the plan is to give him the season and if they finish with no European football to cut him loose in the summer.

Id prefer them to go for someone like Ancelotti or Conte but Id understand if neither is interested.
