I wouldn't be too worried about that. Hard to see Amorin last the season (won't be entirely his fault).

Worrying about players and their style is irrelevant if you don't have a DOF ensuring a footballing philosophy across time and personnel.

No consistency leads to high turnover which leads to no consistency, etc etc

People are so obsessed with this God damn system. Amorim does stick with this system, but it doesn't mean he shows no versatility within the framework.

It can be a very defensive system or a very attacking one, or in between simply by the players you pick. I'm also sure Amorim can get players to do certain jobs within the framework that might not be visible to all us Tommy tactics out here (unless you're fed up. SSB football genius)

I agree with your point in the main though. And INEOS are making decent reputable football appointments behind the scenes. It's going to take time to see the benefits.

Whether Amorin will be around to see those benefits is doubtful as you say.

There's a few more like him. I'm not estactic with INEOS either but they are trying to fix the recruitment at least.

Their engagements with the fans have been disastrous, but also, they're trying to fix 20 years of Glazer bullshit. Whether they succeed is another matter, but they are making changes at the club.

There's also an overdue upgrade to training facilities on the way. The Glazers never fixed any of that and never made any decent appointments and just basically gave the keys to Woodward and Arnold.

Ineos are not great, but they're not as bad as those cunts either.
