This is the first appointment in the post Ferguson era that I’ve absolutely no expectations with the exception of Moyes who I was absolutely certain was the wrong appointment and would fail.

By all accounts this guy sounds the business but as we know United is a different animal in terms of scale of expectations and scrutiny.

Id say outside of King Charles and the Prime minister the office of the United Manager is the most eyeballed in the U.K. at least.

I wish the guy well but I’m hesitant to go all in given how this club has chewed up and spat out so many before him.
