Could have won it late on with Piroe but in fairness Newton Heath also had chances

Thought they’d go on and win it. Conceding the equaliser so soon after taking the lead was a real sucker punch.
From an LUFC point of view, getting back to the Premiership was all about days like today. Man U aren’t the force they were but for Leeds, theirs is still the most important visit of the season - the return of the big time to Elland Road. What a lift it would have been to win the match.
