Take the rest of the week off, you’ve peaked.as forwards go Nunez is replacing the Origi of the Species and marking the Descent of Mane from the heights of Anfield
cheers boss, pure knackered now but still hard at workTake the rest of the week off, you’ve peaked.
Jurgen Klopp's hypocrisy continues with Liverpool's splurge for Darwin Nunez
Darwin Nunez's move to Liverpool is debated in the Mailbox, as is whether the Reds can compete with City. Also: is anyone arsed about the Nations League?www.football365.com
Cheque book manager.
They paid double what City paid for a year older striker, with less demonstrated performance. Wonder why Pool never went for Haaland o.0Ah cmon Liverpool can't hope to match City's spending.
They're doing it different.
What a load of bollocks.
Liverpool are paying 75M up front.Good rattlement at fee for Nunez despite a decent chunk of it being based on incentive based add-ons which really can’t be counted as such.
Also the fact he’s on a fairly modest(modern game) wage of approx £140,000 a week compared to the £380,000 that Mane is going to get at Bayern and £500,000 Haaland will get at City.
With 30 year old Mane likely to be sold for in excess of £40m, Minamino for approx £17m and a 22 year old striker coming in a little over the combined fees of both and much less wages, then this is a very smart numbers move. All that’s left to do now is actually be a success.
