Don't think he'd cut it today - not enough pace, not physically imposing and doesn't offer enough end product to justify the work that others would need to do around him - but he had a wand of a left foot and was (probably still is) a handsome man.

Strong links with him today. Not sure what to make of it. He is a good defender and very fast but he is very limited on the ball.
I can see why the club would want someone like him as he covers both full back spots too and the mooted £35m fee maybe isn’t all that bad in the current market. He’s not someone to get excited about but I do think he’s an upgrade on Bradley and Frimpong from a defensive point of view. It all seems a bit underwhelming though.
