I agree

constant reminders of terrible events like Heysel, Jota's passing, Hillsborough, keegans perm, etc can't be good for morale

I noticed that the crowd sang the Jota song on the 20min mark against Monaco.

After a whole season of it last time I think there should now be an orderly transition through to fans singing it ad-hoc in a more organic way once the new season starts.

It's a sensitive subject and is perhaps unfair for the manager or captain to have to make an explicit request to the fans, but it would be good if the club could issue some guidance.

The last thing you want is for it to start to become a chore and be done in a half-hearted way. Jota's memory has been honoured in lots of ways by the club but I don't think keeping up the 20th min song indefinitely is the right way to go.

I think they're after putting an image of him on the team bus now too?
