The Official Liverpool Thread - Part 2

Gakpo tries and has reasonable output, but he's just a bit one-dimensional & predictable.

Have so much business to do this summer I'd keep him for one more season and flip him (maybe even for a profit) in summer 2027.

In Germany he would be mainly a sub for Diaz, at Liverpool he should be ahead of Gapko. Some talk that Iraola fancies Nunez and would have him back, he has not been a success in Saudi(hasnt even played much since January as Benzema took his place as a foreign player). He is at the WC.
Well worth £55 million of anyone's money.

Drum roll please

As usual

I was right :lol!:

That's why I thought they'd be all over Senesi. 2/3 year contract to allow Leoni and Jacquet to get going.

I'd take Nunez back too. He tried and had some bad misses. Gakpo plays like he doesn't give a shit with the same results.
I wouldn’t take Nunez back unless it was on free for a one year rolling contract to cover the striker position. Otherwise he’s just not it as much as we’d all have loved him to be.

I’d sell Gakpo now if a good offer came in. I can see why some mangers like him because he’s always among the chances but he’s far too predictable and flakey. With the way low blocks are setup now and how organised teams are, you need unpredictability on the flanks to create openings and uncertainty. Gakpo doesn’t do that at all. It wouldn’t be the end of th world if he stays another season though as he is a versatile attacker which a squad needs.
