I’ve no problem with this. While there is an element of self preservation in this, he is saying what the fans think when it comes to the season we are having, the drop in standards off a cliff and the style of football. It also points to the obvious - issues between players and management. Salah is an influential character so if he feels like this, you can be sure others do too. Even if you’ve lost some of the dressing room, you’ve basically lost it all because you need everyone on board in order to get the max out of everyone as a group. The performances and results tell the story we all know and this just confirms what we think.

That said, Salah himself has been well below par too this season so he is somewhat part of the problem but he owes us little or nothing overall. Slot has to go and if this helps get rid of him then I’m all for it. Curtis Jones basically doubled down on this too soon after.
Alonso announced at Chelsea new manager
I’m not massively put out by this. I want a change of manager and Alonso is the obvious name on paper but stylistically he may not be the man for the job. I don’t know if he would be a success but I do know he’d be a better man for the job than Slot on the basis that I don’t know if someone could do worse this season with that bunch of players. Not sure it’s the wisest move for the man himself. Chelsea is a graveyard for managers of late.
