The Official Liverpool Thread - Part 2

30 years.

One title from 2 goes.

Slot out.

Best fans in the fan.
Nah m8, all the stats, results and performances this season are abysmal. The team is running an awful lot less, creating less, scoring less, conceding more and the football in general is slow, boring and doesn’t win enough games to be put up with it. Not by a long shot.

There were mitigating circumstances for the drop off the season after we won the title under Klopp. There wasn’t a fit experienced CB at the club. We saw the season out with Williams and Phillips at CB. It was actually a minor miracle we got top 4.

It seems Slot is going to be given another go at it next season, at least the start of it. Maybe he’s earned that but he has lost the fans so it’s going to take a brilliant start next season to start reeling the fans back in. Otherwise he’s a goner.

You'd have to think Kelleher will get a call ?
I think I saw comments from Kelleher last week saying he’d love to go back if the chance came about. It’s something I could definitely see happening. The way PSR works now it almost makes more sense to sell players with buy back options than to loan them out.

Yeah, playing midfielders at centre half was one of them. Liverpools results improved once Klopp figured that out. Only took himself months to do it.

Genius.

A manager that wins a league in his first go has earned that.

It was stupid to let him go in the first place. But I'm almost certain you and a few others thought it was a good move.

Anyway, I saw Slot thanking the crowd after Everton. Once he works that ip to a few fist pumps he'll be grand.

By that rationale then Michael Carrick simply HAS to get the permanent gig at utd.
Has he won the league?

I must have missed that!
Didn’t they finish like 329th in the league last year?
Yeah, and Amorim, had a great chance of getting CL too. I wouldn't have sacked him.:
The Geordie miracle worker needs to be tied down fast before Real/Barca come calling.
Carrick looks like getting the job. If by some miracle he wins the league next year, I won't be calling for his head because of a poor 4 or 5 games the following November.
