Word is that Ekitike has ruptured his achilles and is out for 9 months or so. That’s a major blow. I know he has some flaws but he’s the main striker and source of goals. It also complicates transfer dealings in the summer as a year is a long time and that’s a very tough injury to come back from.

Always sad to see a player getting an injury that serious. Hope he comes back from it.

There aren’t many injuries that players can’t come back from in top shape these days but that is one of them, unfortunately. So this is a very big blow to the player and the club, for someone who cost so much with so much potential.

It's a sickening injury. I did a full rupture back in the day.
