The Official Liverpool Thread - Part 2

Tbf, Van Djik has been a great signing, albeit he's made his fair share of mistakes and is slightly overrated.

Prime for prime, I'd put the folliwing ahead of him.

Terry
Stam
McGrath
Adams
Ferdinand
I'm afraid we'll have go disagree there Greg m8. I'm going for very overrated.

Call in for a few tomorrow evening at 6. We can debate it over a few pints.

You're still flush, yes?

Are you sure?

It's giving us Super Manc Chaps and the Bumnal Boys a right :lol!: M8.

Worst. Champions. Ever.

Sure Gawd love ye.

Another 450 million should sort it :lol!:
If I was a SMC or Bumnal fan I would be laughing at Liverpool too because of how shit things are currently but we’re had plenty of our own laughs at both of them too, for a prolonged period of time too. And both fell well below 5th in the PL in those times too and were far worse with similar money spent!

Btw, why should fans of big clubs NEVER have to put up with being shit?

Thats a very spoilt attitude to have imho. United have been good for about half of my football watching life and they've been shit for the other half, and shit is relative. Winning a cup, coming 6th is not a good season for a big club, but pass me the handkerchief.

Imagine being a fan of Sheffield Wednesday right now.

Van Dyke at his peak was better than any of these lads who were all great players. He couldn’t be beat, he is 6’5”, and he was great on the ball. He is still a very good player but time waits for no man except Paul McGrath.
