I'm not even angry anymore. Called it before the game. Its just all so obvious.

Gakpo and Salah repeatedly shite. Salah took his goal well but Sa should have saved it if we're being honest and then ruined a 4 on 2 a few minutes later.

He took about 10 corners where mostly they were all brutal. Had a heap of terrible touches and moments that ruined attacks. Took his goal well, can’t say I expected him to score from that. In previous seasons I would have but not currently. But that ruined attack at 1-1 sums him up. It was a certain goal if he just played it into space sooner. He didn’t need to draw the man that close.

The wingers situation is really bleak. Rio is still raw but that rawness is producing more moments in short cameos than Gakpo and Salah are doing in long stints weekly. It’s too slow and predictable which is also our football in general.

We didn’t deserve anything from the game for our approach. The stats will say we should have won or at least drawn but the mentality behind trying to win that game in the first half and at 0-0 is just shocking. Just go after the win from the kick off. Take the game away from them early on. Stop keeping lesser teams in the game and feeding off hope and moments. It’s cowardly by Slot and the team.

Something had to have happened post AFCON.
Young Rio is having more impact in his cameos than he does from the start. Goal aside tonight even Gerrard said it should have been saved.
