The Official Liverpool Thread - Part 2

I think he's almost certainly gone in the summer. He'd have been gone mid season, like Rodgers, but I think they're giving him until then due to the league win last year.

I wouldn't expect Alonso to be the only name either.
I'd have Enrique over Alonso everyday of the week. Similar style to Klopps football, excellent man manager and seems very human centered. If he goes to City, it would be a disaster for the rest of the league.

Also, the booing of Guehi yesterday was embarrassing.

Yeah and similar, smaller booing for Semenyo.

Maybe they just really really like Ibou!

A year now of terrible football. Imagine 12 to 18 months ago accusing Liverpool of having a weak mentality, madness.

Last 20 prem games.

6 wins
6 draws
8 loses
24 points from 60

A loss to Sunderland could see things get very toxic.

I don’t really know any manager that would or should survive with their job in tact with that run of form.

The league table was lying for a while because other teams were also brutal but it’s starting to take shape now and looks very bleak!

Kelleher and Diaz* the two really bad pieces of business from last summer.

*he scored a hat trick at the weekend.

Kelliher wanted game time. He was never staying to be No 2 for another season.

Diaz going and Gakpo staying is a shocker. That left side of the attack is dead. Kerkez has settled down a bit but we won't see any attacking returns from until Gakpo is removed.
Maybe Diaz wanted to leave. Certainly if he wanted the same salary that Gakpo is now on, then it was an awful decision

Diaz was a great battler. Gapko is a ferocious fanny altogether.

6’4, relatively quick and a good right foot.

He has a lot of attributes to be a really good player but he has no balls
