Usually though when lots of sites have it, there's at least a grain of truth to it. I genuienly wouldn't be surprised if Liverpools transfer team put it out there to gauge the reaction.

Or it could be total busllshit. As you say, hard to know.

You could never 100% rule out that there's some interest there.

But even if he starts to pop on various scouting reports from the LFC data guys (which I reckon he would) my feeling is that when Richard Hughes gets sight of it he'd veto any approach.

I bloody hope so. Sure he's a talented guy but I'd hate to see him in a Liverpool jersey.

Wrt United I completely trust Laurie whitnell and Andy Mitten when they write stories. Any Liverpool lads similar to them around?

Whatever they say about it would most likely be the truth.

There's a few in that category - Paul Joyce, James Pearce, Ian Doyle - who wouldn't peddle idle rumours & have genuine sources at the club.

But, as with every reporter, you have to remember that whoever gives them the info also typically has some skin in the game - and it's up to the reporter to judge how much weight to give it.

Take that Geordie reporter Luke Edwards. He swallowed & regugitated everything he was told all summer about Isak...and ended up looking pretty foolish as a result

Unless they need the money, I cannot see Palace selling now but if they do whatever they sell him for is pure profit.

Not quite. They did pay £18m for him. Although in FFP terms any fee recouped be close to pure profit.

Palace though have really dropped the ball by letting their best defender in years (and key member of the team) wind down his 5 year contract just as he is about to turn 26.

A club at their level should've retained him into his late 20s recouped £50m+ on him.

Very disappointing news about Bradley, mainly for himself. He’s very injury prone in general. I know a lot of people had high hopes for him and some even saw him as a better alternative to Trent in some ways but he doesn’t really look up to the standard required to play for a big club like Liverpool every week.

He’s a more than able deputy for a more consistent starter but he doesn’t have the injury record nor consistency to play every week at a top club IMO.

The club need to have a serious look at getting in someone defensively sound for that position.

I think he has the all-round game to be a good enough RB for Liverpool, but these injuries are starting to really be a concern.

I don’t see it Phil. He was superb when he came on the scene firstly but that was a short burst and I don’t think he has the consistency to play every week for a Liverpool team that wants to compete for the PL and CL.

He has become very poor with his reading of situations, giving away countless cheap fouls and picking up yellows too. The fact he’s injury prone doesn’t help his case at all of course.

Yeah I think Bradley is a squad player but struggles for the consistency to be a top level player. He seemed to have controlled the needless yellows which helped.

Picking up an injury like the current one is very worrying too. Standard play and he broke himself f
