The Official Liverpool Thread - Part 2

SlobbYdobbYdoo is a quality player despite acting the complete maggot today, Kerkez looks bang average though, hard to see what Liverpool thought they were getting there
That’s a very skewed view Honky. Szob ran the game. He rolled out the shithousery for 3-4 mins at the end, when any fella with a bit of cuteness would have done. Certainly I would have wanted us to do the same if the roles were reversed. So many times in the past we could have and should have done the same. Coleman was brilliant yesterday at it. Getting into his markers face and sledging, going down for the free when he got the slightest nudge. Brilliant stuff.

Early days for Kerkez. Wouldn’t be writing him off just yet. He’s been piss poor so far though.

Kerkez has really struggled, no doubt but it’s fairly easy to see what Liverpool felt they were getting - the best left back in the PL last season. He was also signed for Bournemouth by Hughes so it’s not as if it was a reactionary signing, the research was done long ago.

The change from a mid club to a top tier club can be a stretch too far for many players. We’ve seen it many, many times before. I wouldn’t write Kerkez off just yet but the bad start to his LFC career is worrying and the only positive any Irish LFC can take from it is that it spilled over into his performance yesterday.

Szoboszlai was the best player on the pitch though but I have no pity for him either.

Of all the signings last summer, Kerkez is the only one i have doubts over.

A lot of internet talk over the weekend about Wharton, is he what Liverpool need? a proper number 6. Grav has been phenomenal but I think he's a number 8
