The Official Liverpool Thread - Part 2

Decent performance that and 1-0 flatters Madrid. Everyone put in a shift. City on Sunday is the teal test though. Szoboszlai is the best midfielder in Europe right now

That's the thing. During this bad run there have been a few cases where they haven't had the rub of green here and there - but overall I didn't think players were quite putting in the maximum workrate and making a point of winning their individual battles.

Stuff like that is cumulative. Once you get the effort levels up to scratch there's more than enough quality to beat any team.

Course he is. Liverpool is all the best.
The level of attention Liverpool playing well last night is getting versus weeks of being shocking is gas. Really shows the media love in and bias.

Like their own fans were decrying poor Conor Bradley all season and now he’s the greatest thing ever. European football is different. Liverpool having an army of light players this season is not the disadvantage in Europe that it is in the Premier League.

Bradley had been shite most of the season to date - not sure what your point is there, the criticism was fully justified, as it was for most of the players and manager, even when they were getting late goals to eek out wins in the first few weeks of the season.

As for the glossing over of the bad form, I don’t know about that, I’d say it’s got plenty of airtime but most knowledgeable football ppl would say they have the quality to turn it around and they get cut some slack for the number of new players trying to be integrated. Having won a few games at the start was a help too to avoid mass hysteria.

Real Madrid is a big game, even if it’s group stage. Liverpool needed to back up the win at the weekend, so given the wobble of the previous few weeks I get the relief of the two wins.

Classic. "Liverpool were shite and you said it, you're awful, waaah'.

Also, 'Liverpool were shite and you didn't say it enough, waaah'.

Or it shows that beating the biggest club in the world (who won 14 of their last 15 games) in the biggest club competition in the world is..I dunno..somewhat newsworthy?

Get away out of that you moany baby.

One of the residents of the planet of the apes starting going mad when TAA was brought on and ended up kissing his jacket. I’d say the man is in his 40s.

What a bum.

TAA put in 354 games with Liverpool, 23 goals, 86 assists, multiple trophies, at the club since he was 8.

Booing him is so fucking shameful, Liverpool fans fell off their high horse there, fucking scum of the earth.
