Told my six year old the news earlier. He's mad into Salah, but Jota scored twice in the friendly I brought him to last summer and hes been big into him since.

Nice moment of levity though "he's dead? Does that mean he won't play next season?".

This came crashing down when he became immediately aware of what death is and what it means. I think it's his Lion King moment

The Liverpool forward had recently undergone surgery, so was driving from Porto to Santander to catch a ferry to England for pre-season training.
