The Official Liverpool Thread - Part 2

I would assume any left back coming in for approx 50m would be first choice, relegating Robertson to back up but with so many games in the season you need both being able for rotation.

Konate needs to be renewed at all costs. He’s extremely underrated and still young. His recovery speed is crucial to how the team plays too. Losing him and taking a punt on someone new would very much potentially destabilise things.

In time yes. Think he’ll share the workload with Robertson for first half of season before gradually taking over.

Robertson barely got a game first half of his debut season. fabinho, Gravenberch same.

Interesting who plays in front of him. Diaz is a disaster for an overlapping fullback cos he takes a load out of the ball.

Gapko is a more thoughtful player.

Completely agree with your take on Konate. You don’t replace him and what he brings for less than €60m in todays market.

He was totally flogged at times trying to cover for he who shan’t be named. Him going to madrid would be a prime opportunity for that homer simpson jumping out of the car and then rolling back in gif.

If admin allowed it the dry shite.

If Frimpong and Kerkez are both confirmed by end of the season, that’s solid business. As many have said, tying Konate down then is the next key bit of business.

Suspect a few departures will be in the works to free up some cash but not sure how good the market is for attacking players.

Brighton's recruitment is mad. There's lads every season with name you've never heard of and they're all ballers.

Shame Matt O Riley got injured early in the season. Class assist just now
