Putting aside his elite performance levels...his % availability is insanely high.

Pack your squad with as many guys like that and you really lower the risk of a reasonably expected level of squad injuries blowing up your season.

I think practically all players likely to have occasional injury, missing few games here and there. Salah mentioned above missed over a month in Jan-Feb - his first absence since missing 2-3 games in 2020 with covid.
However other players - likes of Jota and Shaw - seem predisposed to picking up knocks on regular basis.
Lot of it probably luck. Some players get through a career, recovering quickly from any lay-off. For others, one injury in wrong place may lead to weakness in muscle or ligament and likelihood of further problems.

It’s a fair comment. You can’t build a team around anyone injury prone or rely on them at all. Jota is a great man for a big goal when the chips are done. Some of his link up play can be brutal but then he’d bag a goal or two out of nowhere when it’s needed most and all is forgiven.

This coming summer and next few months in general are really big for the club. There are numerous key players with contracts running out and not looking like signing anytime soon and several players who are likely to be shipped on as they’re not meeting the criteria for one thing or another under Slot.

My advice is to enjoy the title run in because next season could be a very, very different picture.
