If true a huge loss over a long period but Joe Gomez hasn't let Liverpool down in the past when called upon. Also Arne Slot selected Jarrel Quansah before Konate at the start of the season but then swapped them over. I'd expect Gomez and Trent to start v City on Sunday.

Was a very awkward coming together. Nothing confirmed on it today but I saw reports it was his knee.
