There’s no doubt he has had a horrible season but memories are short. He has literally won every trophy available to him in club football already in his career as a regular starter. So the notion Liverpool can’t challenge for major trophies with him as a regular in the side is just factually wrong. Simple as that.

But nobody can say he’s been anything but very poor this season. He, along with many others. He’s still very young and has to work on the defensive side of his game but to write him off now is silly talk. The squad could do with an Arbeloa type deputy who is nothing but solid.

He's 25 in October m8.

I know Trent made a great block on Benzema the other night but he was embarrassingly bad at times. He just didn't know what to do with Vinicius Jr who was always cutting back in but TAA was going the other way. It wasn't even misdirection he was just lost.
His attitude seems poor as well. If they sign any decent RB you'd have to think they'd back themselves to get ahead of him.

His attitude and form has been atrocious all season and you can tell that VVD and Alison are fed up with it. If someone came in with a decent offer for him, >£75m, I’d take it. If he continues at this rate then I can see him being compared to Deli Ali!

His confidence looks absolutely shot.

Klopp should have taken him out of the side long ago. A spell on the sideline may have spurred him onto better things.


As is he has been getting destroyed in their losses in this season. His performance away to Napoli and in both legs against Madrid were of such a poor standard that it made the efforts of his team mates almost academic he was shipping so many chances.


Saying he was good before doesn't matter a bollocks, he has been dropping 3/10s all this season. Id be very surprised if Klopp isnt looking at a replacement in the summer
