Nearly won major trophies last year is no reason to be keeping him in the side. If Klopp sticks around signing a fullback in the summer will have to be a priority.

The likes of Hank and Donald don't realise Trent has won everything in the game and in doing so has the top number of assists and goals more than any full-back. IMO Klopp could have done more to bring the likes of him and Fabinho through a poor spell by swapping them playing Trent right side of mid-field and Fabinho righ-back or playing Tsimikas right-back but he's stubborn on the issue. Carra said his bit on Van Dyke before and the Dutchman replied so he's on Trent now.

There’s no doubt he has had a horrible season but memories are short. He has literally won every trophy available to him in club football already in his career as a regular starter. So the notion Liverpool can’t challenge for major trophies with him as a regular in the side is just factually wrong. Simple as that.

But nobody can say he’s been anything but very poor this season. He, along with many others. He’s still very young and has to work on the defensive side of his game but to write him off now is silly talk. The squad could do with an Arbeloa type deputy who is nothing but solid.
