The Official Irish Rugby Thread

They put Prendergast on and he misses a tackle for the try and was like a headless chicken defending on the wing.

How the f was he starting ahead of Crowley
I was actually happy they won in the end because the eviseration of Sam would have been hard to watch if that lost after that.

Fucking hell, how was it not spotted earlier just how big a weakness this is?

It was but the game was structured around not putting him in front line for tackles etc
AF clearly went with him too early for me and I think it backfired , currently he looks under big pressure and i dont think was even going to make 23 today bar frawley carrying a knock.

Well wouldn't that sicken your shit.
I partly guessed they would win given how the rugby gods have been looking on Munster lately.
I've been saying it all season and it might be pure hope on my side, but I don't think this Leinster team is as good as previous ones and unless they are playing a sensational game of rope-a-dope, I can't see them winning the final especially if it's against Bordeaux.

was at the france game last and it was startling just how far off that level he is. Farrell deserves a lot more criticism for how heavily he featured in the last 15 months. like a first year playing senior cup.

The son of a friend of mine was in the same Ireland age grade as him and was pointing that out back then, but said he was just being pushed regardless.

Honestly never saw it when he was playing for Ireland u20's thought he looked a great prospect but u20 v different to senior international games

It's been proven time and time again that you can't have a 10 that can't tackle. Its defending down a man.

Not sure why Farrell thinks he's the man to prove them all wrong and Prendergast is the man to do it.

RoG wasn't this bad before that gets thrown out.
