The Official Irish Rugby Thread

Italy will bate us at the Aviva.

I'm going to put on a few quid and all.

This is the worst Irish side since the early 90s. I remember going to the matches at Lansdowne road in the early 90s as a schoolboy. Tickets were £3 from CBC. This is when guys like Philip Danaher were playing out half. They were absolutely woeful.
Iirc, paid £1 for a Fiji game back in 1995

I wonder is this an indication that D4 media are starting to turn on their darling Pretendergast:

I think the big difference is the media abroad are openly questioning it now too. They were all in on the hype train but its not delivering. It may well do, at some stage but not now.

One of the English journalist had a pretty damning summary stating that 2 years ago Ireland bate France off the pitch over there with Crowley leading the way. Won them the 6 nations and was just cast aside since.

Hard to know what England are capable of too. They had Wales well beaten but were still just kicking the leather off the ball

The Welsh were incredibly poor. That's 10 cards in the last 5 games Biggar was saying. 11 penalties in 20 minutes. That's near impossible to do. That second row Jenkins seems to he bigged up too but I've never seen him being anything other than average, for Wales or Exeter.
