Not to lessen their win but is this like the men winning a November test or does this count for something for the women?

This time 3 years ago, Ireland Women lost to Spain. 2 years ago, they lost to Japan and lost 6 in a row.

NZ are the second best team in the world, it's not an insignificant win.

It's a tournament. They're in the top division so they'd have backed themselves to beat Canada and the US but one of the others (NZ, England or France) was probably their target
