I just said that I thought 200M seemed a bit excessive and hoped that there'd have been more bang for the travelling public for the 200M bucks.

Solar panels and long term car parks? I live a 10 min spin from the airport (and as I said we're lucky to have such a good facility close by). I suspect most people in Cork are just a taxi-ride away from the place.

I said I live within 10 mins taxi ride of airport. I said separately “I suspect most people in Cork are just a taxi-ride away from the place” - as an ex-taxi driver from this city having driven taxis to places like Kinsale, nearly to Crosshaven, Middleton, EMC in Ballincollig and even up to Rathcormac (he was on a bootycall) I still think most people in Cork are within a taxi drive of the airport.

But hey, if the jewdictators think it outlandish people travelling to the airport might take a taxi from way beyond the city fair enough
