The official Horse racing thread.

Proper studying for the Christmas racing being done at the moment. King George looks a very decent renewal. I've backed The Jukebox Man on the exchanges at 8.4 . Think the booking of Sean Bowen on Banbridge is interesting and I may have a small each-way saver on it. It should have its perfect ground.

I like to go to the lesser knowns when it comes to podcasts on YouTube in search of something from left field and on the Scottish Sun's podcast they are very keen on a horse called Saint Anapolino in the 14:03 at Wincanton on Stephens Day. They seem to think its been laid out for it by Phillip Hobbs.

Roll on St Stephen's Day, hope ye clean them out folks!!

I think it's a mouth watering renewal tbh. The best I've seen in years.

Not even sure if I'll have a bet yet, it's that difficult to call.

Kempton to be developed for housing,
Would be a travesty if this was to close but most feel that this is a done deal at this stage. Unfortunately there's little or no support from government for the racing industry in the UK. And the people they pander to won't be satisfied until ALL racing is banned. I mean if you can't save Kempton on the back of this year's King George then they have no chance.

On this side of the Irish Sea, on the back of the Ban Foxhunting Bill being hammered (124/24), RTE doubled-down in there coverage with Jane Mangan and co re-assuring its viewers that it was indeed safe to come and watch horse-racing and not to be afraid to have a bet as well.

2 polar opposites.
