Took it up the end of last year and gave myself the goal of breaking 90 this year, i broke it twice in a week in Mahon, 84 and 85. Found this guy on youtube called Golf Sidekick, funny guy. Content is about course management, id defo check him out.
He's very good.

So, does anyone here actually play?

I used to play once every 9 months or so, with no real guidance and (funnily enough) remained sh1te.

Joined a club at the start of the year and have started playing regularly. Usually the 6:30am tee-off once a week before work (incl. tomorrow).

Started knocking a fair chunk off my usual score bit by bit, which was encouraging.

But the more satisfying thing is getting to the point where for a few holes per round I started to string together 3 or 4 shots in a row where the contact was good and each shot ended up vaguely where I'd intended.
