The Official Golf Thread

Sorry to derail from the PGA championship discussion and not sure is this the correct place to ask but does anyone have any recommendations for golf lessons in Cork? TIA
I used to play pitch and putt with this fella many moons ago. Heard he's a pretty good golf coach.

I've employed the "top right" philosophy and backed MacIntyre and Rai on the nose to win, at massive prices.

I fully expect to win.

Here's the zoomed out view.

I had a token quid on Noren @ 960.0. In to 23.0 now as he's 2nd to Scheffler going into the final round. Would be shocked if he manages to reign Scottie in tonight, but who knows.

Is that a way of saying who you wanted to win didn't win.
Why would the best golfer in the world be boring? 🙄
I don't know why he's boring, but he is. I would have loved if an Irish player had won. I'd have been happy for a first time major winner to have won, e.g. Aberg, Hovland, Homa. Scheffler is as boring as fuck to watch, some golfers just are.

There has been loads of “boring” golfers over the decades including major winners. Off the top of my head I can think of guys like Jim Furyk, Nick Faldo, Steve Stricker, Martin Keymer, Stephen Gallagher, Francesco Mollinari were all considered boring but Scheffler takes the non emotive dead pan dis-engaged on the course to a whole new level for me. I’ve watched him a lot off course too and clearly he is a fabulous person, just zero charisma
