compared to Alex Higgins and George Best he’s no Craic at all..they set the bar high as Champions go from that part of the World …If Rory wants to be the Peoples Champion he needs to loosen up a bit..Be more like Alex…

Alex and Bestie were mavericks ,absolutely geniuses of their craft and lit up the occasion every time they played.
they Had a charisma about them that connected with the people who saw a bit of their vulnerability too as people .
The people's champion is an odd title in ways but I'm sure the vast majority wanted rory to win or were happy for him that he did .
He's a generational talent for sure and I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him win a few more majors.

I had him at 40/1 in 2011. Those 14 years had me feeling like even 25 cents was extravagant. I’m a believer but I been hurt!
