The Official Golf Thread

Today not his day, I think we were all hoping that he would stretch away ahead of the pack like he did on the Saturday in Portrush but in hindsight that was unrealistic, he needs to hang in now and have his good day tomorrow, Scottie just missed a tiddler there for a par so this is a real test.
I am really admiring Brown who you might have expected to fall away after leading on Day One but has been doing great.

Having been there today it was beautiful up to 2pm and heavens opened. It was was nearly unplayable at times. Horrible conditions for the late tee off times. Lowry definitely lost the head which he has history doing but it was a day where it would happen to most golfer's.

Getting cranky with the crowd too - not a great look.

6th on his own, only nine players under par, disappointing but that is unfair, not easy when things start going awry, McIlroy notorious for losing his calm, hope they do well in olympics & Portrush next year

Yeah, he's a real prick.

I've heard these stories about Lowry loads of times. He's a very generous guy. Golf is fu*king hard sometimes and yesterday was one of the hardest. Most of us would have lost our cool playing yesterday in the conditions. Toughest back 9 I think I've ever seen. A worry for him is that He does blow up pretty spectacular when in contention.
