Fi , jTour de france all start the same time. Just because a F1 dreiver has more points over theSEASON does not give him an advantage in the actual race. Drivers have to race for a podium start before the race
He started the Open which means the first round level with all the other players. He then played the best golf in the first 3 rounds which is why he had a 6 shot lead.

In this Fedex cup finale Scheffler started at -10 and shot 71 which made him -9 ,
Morikawa shot 10 i repeat 10 shots lower than scheffler but is now only 1 ahead.

Because he was 23 places behind Scheffler in final points table. It's not a difficult concept to grasp really.

The final points table was last weekend, there are no points on offer this week. This week uses tournament play to decide the final standings and purses. It really is quite a simple concept to grasp.
