I was thinking about this earlier this morning. The scenario could be that nothing outside the majors will matter anymore with LIV hoovering up players. Therefore the spotlight turns to what the R&A, USGA, PGA, and Augusta National will do. If they band together fine, but if one or more of them put the foot down and exclude the LIVers then all hell will break loose. There's some serious thinking to be done and sharpish.

All they can do is change qualifying criteria short of an outright ban but then you a lot of past champions which will still be allowed. LIV will be only winner here as they have the money to banish every tour. Like Cam Smith has won 7 or 8 mill this year, you can better believe that his offer will be in the range of 200/300 mill. No one can compete with that.

Most of those gone to LIV are has beens when it come to the major golf tournaments and as someone who likes watching the major tournaments there loss is PGA's gain in the long run.
