Shamie up to 63rd in the rankings. He'll have to work hard to maintain or push that on because he'll be facing lads who are just kicking off their season next week. He has a load of starts lined up, so should be able to do that. Outside chance of getting to the Masters.

Great start to the Sony Open in Hawaii for Power, sitting 4th, two off the lead.

He's given himself every chance. Bogey free again yesterday, birdied three of the last four holes to get into a tie for third. Impressive stuff from him. That good streak, culminating in the win last year seems to have really given him the belief that he needed. His putting has been really good and that seems to be key: his ball striking is already excellent.

Great result for him again. Into the top 50 in the world and 14th on the Fedex cup at the moment.

He was something like 430 ranked a year ago. Some going. Amazing what a few good results and confidence can do in golf.
