Pleading that he had no convictions elsewhere - so f**king what. He’s a drug dealing scumbag who resisted arrest, violently assaulted a cop carrying out his duty. And attempting to throw the Garda into the river is very serious and could be construed as attempted murder - doubtful he asked the Garda if he could swim.

I hope he has the crap beaten out of him while he’s in custody. We’ve enough scumbags of our own without importing c+nts like this
 


Another strange result but jury found him not guilty .Maybe he had suffered enough ..
An odd one alright.. what’s reported is that his wounds were defensive and they supported his version of events, where he was attacked by men with a long history of violence and assault and him and many other parties.

Ya i have a sister living back that direction and i remember time it happened both son and father were arrested and was big news .


She said to me at the time that 2 lads were no angels but reading case i thought enough evidence to charge him with assault and havong a knife but jury must have seen something in brothers or there evidence they didnt like to not convict .
