So anyway I see this in the news today…not a Cork court case, but up the country.

Disqualified driver spotted driving by a Gard, who called to his house the next day. Yer man denies driving the car and says he pays some other fella €250/week to drive him around. It goes to court and the drivers statement of means says his only income is €450 of social welfare. The judge asks him how he can afford to pay that and he says he makes an extra bit of money selling stuff at car boot sales

The nail in the coffin was the Gard describing how the driver was bald but yer man’s alibi had a full head of hair..
