Those saying McCowan should never play for Celtic again are daft imho. The biggest mistake on the night was Nygren’s lazy gifting them an equaliser and hope before halftime - not McCowan who’d worked back, tackled and got the ball, getting no man-on shout and losing it again imho

Lets be honest here, the quality of that Celtic squad is shockingly low but Lask are equally as bad if not worse, from the 60 minute on maybe even earlier Celtic were just kicking the ball back to them and defending the box like they were playing Pep's Man City or Barcelona, I cant figure out what MON was trying to achieve by using all the 5 so quickly, Carter Vickers is now where near fit enough and it showed, he was caught for pace twice in the opening 10 minutes of the first leg also so if we could see it how could MON have not?

On McCowan, any player can have an off day but i do not understand how a professional footballer can be that bad, it actually looked like he was trying to lose the game it was horrendous.

That the Scottish Double Champions were beaten by the Austrian Double Champions seems to be generating a lot of interest amongst the EPL fanboys who try to make out it’s a much bigger shock than Hull City beating Man U

That really surprised me too. He seemed decent enough at Dundee and was ok for a while after he joined Celtic. He hasn't nailed down a starting place and it looks like his confidence is completely shot

He's been shipping serious online abuse and I think he needs to be moved on for his own sake.

He can still do a decent job in the SPL for a mid table side but he's nowhere near the quality needed by Celtic.

I think it was a bit more than a failure by his team mates to give him a warning b4 he lost possession
