The Official Celtic Thread

Too many changes was a big risk.

It didnt pay off.

To be honest, it was as enjoyable a spectacles as we have seen domestically for some time.... until the final third.

Putting shite like Tounekti and Nygren back in the side isn't filling me with confidence.

Both performed exactly as you would expect.

Nygren =greedy and lazy
Tounekti= zero end product.

When Hearts got their first from everyone switching off, it didn't look likely there would be a comeback.

The second was from shit defending from a corner that should never have been given.

So a goal from everyone switching off because they thought it was offside... and a goal from everyone staying alert even though it should have been given offside.

A consolation... at the end.

Robertson gave Celtic 3 free kicks in 30 seconds at one stage...but it would be great to never see him again.

i know the spl is a bit crap (i'm being kind) these days, but bringing a manager from a very weak league like the u.s. seems a mighty peculiar move to me
The SPL doesnt exist any more.
It's the SPFL.

It does seem a bit of a left field and highly risky move.

But the board aren't capable of recruiting players, let alone a manager.

It's going to be interesting anyway.

We had 2 strikers on the bench 2day and Maeda is at his best on the wing🤷, 9/10 times Engels header goes in, Reo hits the bar with rebound🤦

Switched off for their first goal which should never happen, 2nd goal never a corner but to let a player loose in area for it ffs

We have to give Willie a chance but Thu night could be hiding behind the sofa time again

Gonna be a difficult watch on Thursday.

It would be regardless of who is in the dugout.

Hopefully he's learned a few things today.

I don't want to see Nygren or Tounekti ever again. Absolutely woeful footballers.

He's useless anyway.

Missed most of the game our coaching kids.

Saw the goal.

Saw the equaliser the huns got.

Fair play to the officials. They couldn't give one solitary fuck about being called cheats. They'll cheat anyway.

Based on this, I've changed my mind on the penalty we should have got for the blatant foul on Yang.
Even when the Killie player didn’t score they ruled him offside. He was A YARD INSIDE HIS OWN HALF!!!! Who needs to draw dodgy lines when even the lines drawn on the pitch are ignored. And Borland allowed away again with a two footed tackle on ann opponent.

VAR only works if the var officials aren’t bent.

Sack The magnetic Board!😜

Willie trying to impose his game on a team that had won five or six on the bounce under Martin was hubris.

The lashing rain mightn’t have helped and we spurned some great chances early, but in fairness to McInnes he set his team up right and made the most of his squad. The same can’t be said for Nancy.

Roma doesn’t bother me but if he loses his first 3 games including the LC final he could be our Russel Martin - we had a perfectly good manager in MON - not sure about Nancy at the mo😬
