The Official Celtic Thread

No penalty, but sure they were on him to level it up somehow cheating fuckers.

Same as cup final last year never got the 2nd to make sure, Osmond is a rocket and Forrest just does what he does.

Huns gone to SFA for explanation why Trusty was'nt given the road😅, usual sour grapes, cant take it ffs.

I think Trusty is a lucky boy he only got a yellow but then again Cornelius should have gotten a straight red card too - out of control, studs first, connected with an opponent with force. Wonder if the Statement FC will be asking the SFA for an explanation on that?

A couple of days to reflect and there should have been 3 reds. The focus on Trusty is wild. It was by far the mildest of them all.

The actual sending off doesn't merit any real debate.

The penalty award is one of those ones that you can argue either way... I don't think it was... but then I am based.

The goal ruled out for offside. Shift it on a frame and the ball is still on Nygren's foot and it 'looks' on.

McLean and Dallas are going to chose the frame they prefer.

The foul on Reo in the box isn't getting talked about at all. I'm not sure how it wasnt awarded.

I'm still irritated over the soft frees Walsh awarded when Celtic just pressed them into coughing the ball up.

All in all, Walsh had a poor day. With the exception of the Trusty one, most decisions favoured them.

Including another yellow card for Cornelius which was mental.

I think Trusty was the beneficiary of the failure to send off Cornelius.

Sleekit Diamonde, up to his usual tricks, could've seen a similar punishment to Trusty with his leg hitting into Kenny after Kenny was scythed down by Cornelius. How Cornelius didn't get a straight red for that only Walsh knows. It was late, studs first, with force tackle from behind that connected with Kenny's ankle - not his foot. Cornelius launched himself both feet off the ground and was out of control - straight red all day long.

I think the penalty shouldn't have been given because Ralston had actually been, accidentally, tripped and was falling down ever before the shot was taken, and rather than break his fall with an outstretched arm realised the possible danger and bravely wrapped his arms into his body - never a penalty imho

The utilisation of VAR and WHEN those lines are drawn has been a very murky business in Scotland imho. They shouldn't be drawn until the very last frame of when the passer is still in contact with the ball. We've seen previously the lines drawn early to suit the narrative :(

Walsh a couple of times he awarded frees to Celtic instead of playing clear advantage, and seemed to be much more willing to card Celtic players than huns for similar infringements.

The foul on Reo in the box was hillariously funny it was so ludicrous and obvious. There's no mitigation for the defender he simply ran in after Reo had controlled the ball and just barrelled him over. And as you say there's been nothing about it. There was also a very obvious dunt in the back of I think it was Ralston in the final minutes of ordinary time on the left edge of their box. Hard to tell if it was inside or just outside, but it again was a very obvious foul.

The huns going complaining to the SFA after benefiting from decades of dubious decisions and Radio shows and media commentators fueling the whole "Celtic always get all of the decisions" irony.

Forgot the Diomande one as I didn't really see it until second viewing. Knee to the back of the head.

Every game he's at shit like that.

Absolutely! Diomande has to be the most sneaky dirty player in the Scottish Premiership bar none. And then he goes down as though shot if someone brushes against him. Sly use of the elbows and kicks after the ball as well. He's as bad as Hurlock!
