Routine... and i'm thankful for that

Well in control on what looked fine but seemed a difficult pitch. Once Scales got the second there was no way back for the Jags.

New winger Tounetki looks a find - two games two MOTM awards. Iheanacho had a couple of deft touches assisting goals too.

CCV had a couple of scares and Sinisolo had an absolute howler of a mistimed flap but otherwise team looked good with plenty of drive. Even Hatate had iimproved on recent showings but again McCowan did more in a fraction of the time.

We need to manage Tounetki before the Hearts game. Opponents will take turns to kick him

A special mention to Don Robertson who awarded Celtic a free kick in the 90th minute.

Hibs had fuck all possession and conceded one....single.... solitary free kick.

The commentary said it was being checked... but i'm not so sure. It looked pretty clear to me that the arms were outstretched.... albeit behind him.

The same passage of play saw CCV booked for a perfect challenge.

I think Celtic are really lacking a cutting edge at the moment but our play is really hindered by officials like Robertson, whose foul count breaks up play.

17 fouls to 1 - against a team with over 75% of the ball says a lot.

Yup, Don Robertson cheated his way through this game. Hibs played delaying tactics throughout going down time and again and yet Don only added 4 minutes - should've been double that.
CCV's yellow card was an absolute joke - it wasn't even a foul. And we could have had a penalty but for some reason VAR didn't look at it

Celtic had something like 75% possession yet Robertson awarded 17 frees against Celtic, and a solitary one against Hibs.

That said, Celtic were very profligate with a number of great chances and hit the woodwork two or three times.

We badly need a midfield spark a la Lubo/Rogic/Commons. If we don't get a good one in January then we're not going to win the title. We're not scoring enough goals.

Scales had another great game at least.

Not sure i can get worked up about a competition the board couldn't give a fuck about.... but that was a terrible decision.

Then the sucker punch of a breakaway goal.

The 3 at the back looked more positive. Relative to the utter shite we witnessed in thd first half.
