I've often wondered if Celtic (or rangers) joined the English league and weren't immediately successful would their crowds tail away a tad?
i.e. it's easy to get 55k to a game when you're almost guaranteed to win 90% of home games and subsequently trophies (in a weak league), whereas say if they joined the epl and had 5-10 seasons in a row with no trophies or top 8 finishes would numbers drift off somewhat?
I used to always watch the Scottish games on telly but more or less gave up 8-10 years ago, it was just so damn boring and the quality of play was so poor ..... had hoped hearts/hibs or Aberdeen might step up when the huns were demoted but alas no
