The Official Celtic Thread

Thought the difference was reflected by Hatate - poor in the first half but got way more involved second half. GG and Forrest were very good when they came on and Johnson is looking like a great bit of business. Bernabei better than JJ at left back but shows how much we miss Taylor.

The huns played against Dundee United yesterday. And in the wake of Goldson getting away with a handball against Celtic in the previous league match, this is what he does and gets clean away with v DU. It'll be interesting to see how these "genuine mistakes" even themselves out over the rest of the season.

It wasn't even checked by VAR

Jack handled the ball too in that game.

The response is to hold a summit to discuss the handball rule and try and get clarity from IFAB.

The last time they sought clarification from IFAB... and it sounds like I'm making it up.... was on how hard Morelos can kick someone before they should send him off.

A waste of time. Just get impartial officials and there would be no need for any of this shit.

Bigot Kyle Lafferty is back available for the semi-final on Saturday after his 10 week suspension for sectarianism.

His manager Derek McInnes says he's doing start jumps and chomping at the bit to play.

To be honest, the lads who stitched him up need a good kick up the hole.
He's just a fuckin idiot.

1 game in every 10 against us he turns up like Messi. the rest of the time he is a useless donkey.

Absolutely massive scandal at the cost of millions to the taxpayer.

This only came about because of the High Court in London. If it was left to the Scotch to deal with, nobody would have heard a thing.

Even now, I fully expect this will go nowhere. Given the abject failure of the Scottish mainstream media to adequately cover massive scandals like the Rangers cheating scandal and their liquidation, it's unlikely this will get anything more than a cursory airing.

You might get stick for posting it here in that it's not directly relevant to Celtic, but given the recent discussions about the relative treatment of Celtic and the Rangers(es), I think it is.

Proven corruption in the police and judiciary favouring the various incarnations of Rangers demonstrates just how far this shit permeates. What was once ascribed to paranoia now sits squarely in the realms of established fact.

Really good result at Hampden. Really difficult conditions and a really stubborn opponent.

2-0 in the end. 2 disallowed correctly on this occasion. One as close as fuck. Killie had their chances but couldn't make the most of em.

Semi finals are for winning and that's what they did.

Edit: and great to Kyle Lafferty making an utter dick of himself to set up the Fenian Bastards for the first goal.

Good result. Only saw highlights but Killie definitely should have had a penalty in injury time imho. GG dragged yerman down the way GG himself had been dragged down by hun player last year. Still think both were obvious penalties.

That said of course, Celtic had one perfect goal disallowed for an offside where Hatate was played on by a defender playing the ball, WITH HIS HAND!!!! but somehow VAR missed the obvious hand-ball and gave a biazarre offside
