poor result today for Cardiff, 1-1 at Peterborough in a very winnable match, Cardiff didnt play on Friday as they were due to play bottom of table Port Vale who had a FA Cup qf to play. They were the better team but were unable to make the extra rest/prep time pay. Bradford are now the biggest threat coming to within 7 points with a game more played. Cardiff need win v Bolton on Sat to steady the ship. They also have two difficult away matches left v Reading & Huddersfield who are both chasing the last playoff spot. Lincoln now officially promoted and have the title almost in the bag. Will be their first time at Level 2 since early 1960s.

BBM spent almost nothing in the transfer market, I think only Osho was where cash was spent, the rest were loan deals. League 1 is a tough, physical league, so it’s no surprise, that a lot of his young players are now running out of steam. They also lost their first choice centre forward for a couple of months. They should still fall over the line for promotion but will have to spend fairly big to be competitive in the Championship.
