the official betting thread.

Had a look at the PL top scorer market for guys at bigger prices who might be decent runners for e/w place money

Marmoush @ 50/1
Morgan Rogers @ 125/1
Anthony Gordon @ 175/1
Eze @ 200/1
Savinho @ 250/1
Ouatara @ 275/1

Anyone else spot anyone interesting?
So In The Top Scorer Market I Went For;

Wissa @ 51 (Hoping he gets a move to Newcastle there tbh) Mr Power
Mbuemo @ 81 Patrick
Bruno @ 91 (Penalties!!!) Pat
Rogers @ 101 Star
Thierno Barry 101 Boyle
Justin Kluivert @ 176 PPs

And Stinch on Football only better made a case for Dango Ottara @ 276 with Freddy, so I followed him in for a few schillings.

Accuse me of Zentaphobia now MFs

None of these in with a sniff outright, with a small handfull technically still with a small chance of place money (top 4) if they go on a late season run.

Feels like it's more weighted towards 'proper' strikers this season, with fewer wide attackers / attacking midfielders high up the list than in recent years (...just my gut feel, haven't checked)

With this one game format it's ripe for late bookings at big prices, if the game is tight.

In the Turkey game I picked 5 big odds guys (33/1 up to 50/1) and backed them just before the 90th min mark.

2 came in at 40/1 and 50/1 respectively. Go with a bookie that offers a "sub on / play on" in the booking market.

You know the way a price jumps out at you?

PSG are 1.95 with ladbrokes to beat Liverpool. At home. In the fist leg.

I can't be alone in thinking this is wrong, can I? I honestly thought PSG would be 1.7 ish at best.

Swedish league starts tomorrow.

Last year's miracle champions at a canter but they've only spent thirteen seasons in the Allsvenskan, from an 87 year history.

They won the league by conceding half of their expected total, and finished 27 points above their expected total, according to Fotmob, which is the wildest of wild overperformance.

Rated the sixth highest squad value in the league by Transfermarkt but it's a relatively compact league, so it wouldn't be a huge deal to see anybody in relegation trouble.
