Outdoor Season Kicking off in earnest tomorrow.

Doha Diamond league will be on YouTube between 5 and 7

Barr, English and Lavan all got a lane which is moderately unusual.

The 3k looks great. All the Ethiopian 5k crew, Berega, Aragawi and Kajelcha plus the best of the steeplers including El Bakalli and Girma and the legend that is potatoe Tim Cheriut squaring off

Womens 100m is a deep field too. Dina, Sherika Jackson and the Sha'Carri. Sha'Carri has been posting fast wind assisted times. I expect her to shit the bed as usual.

Mens 200 is full of stardust too. The world 400m champ squares off againt the world 100m champ at 200m. You love to see it

Saturday there is a big meet at the sound trackfest all the US guys are there. Brian Fay in the 1500m in a strong field including woody Kincaid. Barry Keane in the 5k in a strong field including Cooper Teare.

This is a get the standards type meet so hopefully the lads run fast

Yeah. She looked and acted like a pro.

Last year her starts made her look like she was on a treadmill. She's had a good early season in 20 and 21 too. Last year she was shite all round but put that down to an abusive relationship with Janeek Brown. SAFP and ETH are both pushing on a bit like. She's way better than Steiner and TeeTee Terry so should make the US team. We'll see.

Girma showed some wheels in the 3k. El Bakalli usually sits on him for 2800m with his better hurdle technique in the steeple and kicks past. No living withnthe speed. A steeple/5k double world be class if he can manage it.

I hadn't realised it was Tim Cheriut's first ever 3k. 7:36. He did grand for a 1:43 800m guy. Josh Kerr running the 5k at that sound running meet so looks like everyone is trying to do overdistance like Whiteman did last year

Some remarkable resuts over in the states. Brian Fay completed the 10k/5k double in the Pac 12.

Sealing the team title for Washington.

That'll put him in legend status over there.

He out kicked Kai Robinson and Cole Sprout in the 5k. Both are big enough deals and are likely to go pro. Robinson was 25th at world cross.

In the Big East Barry Keane and Abdaal Lagel with an irish 1 and 2 in 29:10 ish.

Its a weaker conference so that's Barrys 4th title in a row

They won't feature at regionals with those times but still.

Sophie O'Sullivan was 4th in the 1500m in the Pac 12 brought her PB to 4:12 which is also promising

No DL this week but night of the 10,000m PBs will be on YouTube tonight.

They're basically set up to get as many people as possible world qualifiers 27:10 for the men and 32:00 for the women I think. And they're the Brit 10k champs.

We have Efram Gidey, Steve Scullion and Dean Casey at 21:20. Andy Buchart is going for the British record and Paul Chelimo flew over for it.
