Will be a true run race you’d imagine…. Werro and Keely like to keep the pace hot. Bol is improving every race.

I enjoyed last night.

I thought the gimmicks were mostly pretty good. the black centre field they could have left off, it's there to contrast to glowing javelins tonight but they could have painted the hammers too.

The condensed format for HJ, PV and LJ was good unless you happen to be an athlete outside of the top 4.

Some of the camera angles were wonky but okay.

The trophy is ugly as fuck but that's small beer.

Overall it felt different to a DL final. Country kits was a good shout that was only announced this week.

Masai Russell must be on for athlete of the year. I don't pretend to be a high hurdles expert but the pattern of her seemingly pick it up from hurdle 5 or 6 to storm though seems unique in the sport.

There was good reactions from the various champs trackside.

Jakob shutting up all the yanks was a highlight. Fantastic performance as good as anything he's done before in that field in a sub13 min race.

In fairness to the athletes they keep on delivering.
