Solid run from our Tipp stunner. She was entitled to win that but first run since the injury. Nice to get the win and the time was decent.

Straight into it for sure. Hard to guage where the three are form-wise. You'd think:

1. Adeleke might scrape it with a whizzer performance
2. English will be OK if he runs to form
3. Sharlene is very much up against it - in fairness, well done to her for putting the injury disappointment behind her and getting back going before the season ended. That's not patronising her - it's just saying where it is

I'll go along with that. Outside of White, Gabby and MJW Rhashidat has the beating of the field I think.

English should be okay, I wonder how Max Bergin will go.

Sharlene already in bonus territory, it'd be a great time to PB

I’d say English and Adeleke enjoyed the celebrations, I’m not expecting much from either

LOL, maybe so

He'll still have enough for Tual and Pattinson, Arop has been off it this year for a fella who talks himself up. Old Man Brazier is done.

Burgin normally dangerous in a first race but needs the day off for the final.

Sedjati and Pernici in good form.

He should be okay. this was his plan all year.

Adeleke less clear but she's better then Jenna Prandini

Reading Sonia's column there this morning, she says Englsh actually gave up his place in the Diamond League final last week in order to focus on the Ultimates - he headed off to his usual altitude base in Sierra Nevada. So, the lad is clearly planning to be up for the gig.

When you think about it, the prize money alone is worth the focus - $150k for the win, with €75k and €40k for second and third.

The 800 has two races on consecutive days, so you'd assume lads will be holding back bigtime and doing a final straight dust up in the semis.

Rinaldi was saying Mark has spend about 20 weeks in Sierra Nevada this year mostly training by himself before Euros so he must be up at 23 weeks or so by now

It's supposed to be fairly hardcore up there. A track and a hotel and fuck all else.

The payday is the real legacy of GST, all the gimmicky stuff with the fashion shows and lane drafting blipped onto my missus' radar so it must be getting some traction at least.

Mondo's anthem is pure shit though
